Tips for Working with a Side Hustle Tube

  • The circular knitting machine knits from left to right. When you unravel the stitches, they will come undone in the opposite direction from what you are used to.
  • Every yarn is different, and we have to adjust the tension at the beginning of every skein. Check both ends of the tube. You may have to unravel several rows to remove a section with different tension. Don’t worry! We’ve allowed extra length just for this.
  • Work a knit row before starting ribbing to avoid bi-color purl bumps.
  • When removing waste yarn from the tube, unpick some of the tube yarn and leave yourself a 4-5 inch tail to weave in.
